NuFace New You

I recently discovered a new product, it is called NuFace. I am a skeptic when it comes to new cosmetic gadgets because there are so many invented everyday, what makes this one better than the next? However, the other day I was curious to see wether this product did what it is advertised to do, so I had an esthetician try it on me and it really works!

NuFace is a hand held device that you use to massage your face five minutes per day five times a week. It sends low levels of microcurrents to tone and lift the muscles on your face and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. It is claimethat the more you use it the better your skin will look. After it was done on me, I saw immediate results. I also saw it performed on two other women, and their faces were dramatically different after. I definitely recommend this product, it's a mini face lift without the surgery!

Mother's Day is coming up, this would be a great present!

Back from Hiatus/ Rockin' Color Blockin'

Just like fashion, inspiration can change with the seasons and for the last month, I haven't been inspired to blog about fashion. Maybe it is the dreary Seattle weather, or the fact that I am yearning to move back to San Francisco as the days get closer to June, or I've been traveling and playing too much. Whatever the case, it's been over a month, and I am going to blog again.

April showers are supposed to bring May flowers, but in Seattle it seems like May, June, July will still be less flowers and more showers. Which means that the local fashion is still dark, with leggings and boots still roaming the city. As much as I hate to admit it, I have contracted a bit of Seattlitetis. Yes! You can catch me wearing long sweaters, and leggings tucked into boots! Ughh, I dread this very look when I first moved here, and now I am a guilty participant. There's nothing wrong with it I guess, but the majority of the population here has made it their signature uniform.

How do I get back to color, skirts, and sandals?! What inspired me to write this post was a recent visit to San Francisco. The sun was shining, the weather was beautiful for exploring and shopping. A stop at Zara in Union Square and I felt my fashion mojo coming back. Not only does Zara have amazing display windows, they make really cute, good quality clothes! Why can't they open one in Seattle?

Color blocking is the trend for Fall, and Zara already has a leg up on it for Spring. You will see color blocking from almost every design house this Fall, from Diane Von Furstenberg to Prada. For those of you who are not familiar with color blocking, it is literally that, putting bold, bright colors together without looking like a clown. It can be done in solids or stripes. Of course, there is always a tasteful and not so tasteful way to dress, and you have to be extremely careful when color blocking your outfit. If color blocking clothes are too bold for you, try adding it to your wardrobe with some color blocking shoes, or accessories.

It's time to pack up your tights and boots and throw them into storage, and get yourselves rockin' some color blockin'.
